Introduction

Flux ("the App") is a Mounjaro injection tracking app developed by Richard Bagshaw ("we", "us", "our"). We are committed to protecting your privacy. This privacy policy explains how the App handles your data.

By using Flux, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

Data We Collect

Flux collects the following types of data, all of which are provided directly by you or read from Apple Health with your explicit permission:

• Injection data — dosage, injection site, date and time, and optional notes
• Weight data — weight entries logged manually or synced from Apple Health
• Daily tracking data — water intake (logged in-app), calories, protein, steps, and sleep (synced from Apple Health)
• Side effect data — side effects you choose to log
• Goal and preference data — target weight, injection schedule, and app settings

How Your Data Is Stored

All data is stored locally on your device and within your Apple Health account. Flux does not transmit, upload, or store your data on any external servers, cloud services, or third-party platforms.

There are no user accounts, no third-party logins, and no cloud syncing. Your data is owned entirely by you and remains on your device at all times.

Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose your personal data to any third parties. Since your data never leaves your device, there is no data to share.

Apple Health Integration

Flux integrates with Apple Health to read and write health data with your permission. This includes weight, steps, calories, protein, and sleep data. You control exactly which data types Flux can access through the Health app's permissions settings on your device.

Data shared with Apple Health is governed by Apple's privacy policy and is stored securely on your device by iOS.

AI Insights

Flux provides AI-generated insights powered by the Anthropic API (Claude). To generate these insights, summary statistics from your logged data (such as weight change, injection timing, and daily tracking totals) are sent to Anthropic's servers. No personally identifiable information is included — only numerical stats needed to produce the insight.

Anthropic's data usage policy means your data is not used to train their AI models. You can review Anthropic's privacy practices at anthropic.com/privacy.

AI insights are for informational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice.

Analytics and Tracking

Flux does not include any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. We do not collect usage analytics, device identifiers, or behavioural data.

Data Export and Deletion

You can export and import your data at any time using the built-in export functionality within the App. To delete your data, simply delete the App from your device. Since all data is stored locally, deleting the App permanently removes all Flux data from your device.

Children's Privacy

Flux is not intended for use by children under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
